Dr. Natale is a Board Certified and fellowship trained Ophthalmologist. He received a BA from Columbia College, a MS from Wagner College and his medical degree from Des Moines University/College of Osteopathic Medicine and Surgery. He completed a Family Practice residency at Union Hospital and an Ophthalmology residency at the Affiliated Eye Residencies of NJ/UMDNJ. He then completed a fellowship in Kerato-Refractive Surgery at the Eye Institute of NJ/Newark Eye and Ear Infirmary.
He has been a Clinical Instructor at the Newark Eye and Ear Infirmary/Eye Institute of NJ/UMDNJ, the Newark Eye and Ear Trauma Service, the UMDNJ/NJ College of Osteopathic Medicine, the NY College of Osteopathic Medicine, the Kirksville College of Osteopathic Medicine, Union Hospital/St Barnabas Health Care System and Seton Hall University.
Dr. Natale is experienced at treating diseases of the eye such as Cataracts, Glaucoma, Diabetes, Age Related Macular Degeneration and is interested in Ocular Surface Disease especially Dry Eye Syndrome and Ocular Allergy. He is a member of the Medical Staff at St Barnabas Ambulatory Care Center in Livingston, NJ, Hoboken University Medical Center and Essex Specialized Surgery Institute (ESSI).
He continues to be a member in good standing of the American Academy of Ophthalmology, the American Society of Cataract and Refractive Surgery, the American Osteopathic Association and the American Colleges of Ophthalmology and Otolaryngology – Head and Neck Surgery.
Dr. Natale has been recognized as a “Top Doc” by Inside Jersey magazine and was chosen as a Leading Physician of the World and Top Ophthalmologist in NJ by the International Association of Ophthalmologists. Once again this year, he received recognition by Castle Connolly as a Top Doctor. He has been on the prestigious Castle Connolly List of Top Doctors for more than 10 Years.
